Honey Sriracha Salami - Salt & Twine
Sriracha Honey Salami
Sweet heat in a casing. Salt & Twine takes real sriracha and raw honey, folds them into heritage breed pork, and slow-cures the whole thing down to a salami that hits you with a warm chili tingle before the honey rounds it off. Not gimmicky. Not novelty. Just two flavors that have always worked together, finally meeting inside a proper dry-cured salami.
The sriracha brings chili, garlic, and a vinegar sharpness that cuts through the richness of the pork. The honey and date syrup add a subtle, natural sweetness that tempers the heat without burying it. Cured with celery powder and lactic acid starter cultures instead of synthetic nitrates. Heritage breed pork, antibiotic-free, no added hormones, 100% vegetarian-fed. Zero grams of sugar per serving despite the honey in the mix, which tells you how little it takes to make the flavor land.
Slice thin and lay across a board with a soft, creamy cheese like brie or burrata. The heat wants something cool and fatty next to it. Works well on a banh mi-style sandwich with pickled carrots and cilantro, or just straight out of the package when you want a snack with some personality.
The Maker
Salt & Twine operates the first small-batch salumeria in New England, built out of Waltham, Massachusetts. What started in the kitchen of their award-winning deli just outside Boston in 2015 turned into a full-scale operation dedicated to contemporary charcuterie with modern flavor combinations. Every salami is fermented and slow-aged using heritage breed pork sourced from antibiotic-free, crate-free farms.

FAQ
How spicy is the Sriracha Honey Salami?
Moderate warmth. The sriracha delivers a chili tingle with garlic backbone, but the honey and date syrup smooth it out. You'll feel the heat, but it won't overwhelm the cured pork flavor underneath.
Is this salami sweet?
The sweetness is subtle and savory, not candy-like. Honey and date syrup add just enough to balance the sriracha's vinegar and chili. Zero grams of sugar per serving.
Is this salami ready to eat?
Yes. It's fully cured and ready to eat straight from the package. Slice thin for boards or snack straight from the chub.
What kind of pork is used?
Heritage breed pork raised crate-free, antibiotic-free, without added hormones, and 100% vegetarian-fed. All natural, minimally processed, no artificial ingredients.
Does this salami contain nitrates?
No synthetic nitrates or nitrites added. Salt & Twine uses celery powder as a natural curing agent. No MSG, no artificial preservatives.
