Why we built this.
We both grew up on farms in Indiana and know how high quality meats are made. For years we were piecing our family's proteins together from whatever farmer's market or butcher we could reach on a Saturday. It's exhausting, and half the time the sourcing story falls apart if you ask two questions. So we built the supply chain we wanted as customers. Many of the farms in our boxes are within driving distance of where we grew up — small, family-run operations across Indiana, where the animals are raised on pasture and handled by the same people their whole life. No feedlots. No industrial processors. No shortcuts.

Why Carnivore Club vs. buying at a premium butcher?
Because a premium butcher often can't tell you which farm the animal came from, and we can. Every cut in your box comes from a small family farm across Indiana — direct relationships, no aggregators. Monthly delivery to your door for less than the natural foods store charges for the same pasture-finished cuts. If you have a butcher you love, keep them. Is this just another meat subscription?
No. Most meat subscriptions are a mixed box for a household that cooks meat two or three nights a week — chicken, pork, a little beef. Carnivore Club is built for people who eat meat as the meal, not the side dish. More beef, more fat, more offal, sourced to actually serve a carnivore or keto diet. Ordinary meat boxes are a sampler. This is inventory.
How is this different from grass-fed at the grocery store?
Most "grass-fed" beef at the grocery store is grass-fed and grain-finished — the animal grazed on pasture until it was moved to a feedlot for its last 90–180 days. Our animals are raised on pasture and finished on pasture, no feedlot. The supply chain is also different: grocery-store "grass-fed" comes through aggregators from dozens of anonymous suppliers. Every cut in your box comes from a small Midwestern family farm we have a direct relationship with.
What is organ-enriched ground beef and what does it taste like?
Ancestral Blend is ground beef with 10% beef organ meat (liver, heart, kidney) mixed in. You get the micronutrient profile of a whole-animal diet without cooking organ meat separately. The blend ratio is small enough that you can't taste the difference — cooks the same, seasons the same, tastes the same. It's the easiest way to add organs to your diet if you're not ready to sear a liver yourself.
How does shipping work — will my meat arrive frozen?
We ship at the beginning of every week — usually Monday through Wednesday — so your box always arrives before the weekend. Transit is 3–5 business days via FedEx, and every box is packed in dry ice and freight-grade insulation. It arrives cold - if not still frozen. Orders placed Wednesday or later usually move to the following week's batch, unless you're close enough to us that we can still make the window. No weekend transit means no thawed-meat surprises.
What if I'm not home when it arrives?
No signature required. Dry ice and insulation keep the contents frozen for 24 hours past delivery, so your box is safe on the porch while you're at work. And because we only ship early in the week, there's no risk of a weekend-long sit. If you'll be gone longer than a day, skip the next shipment from your account — takes about 10 seconds.
What if I don't eat through a box before the next one ships?
Easy fix. From your account, skip a month, delay the next shipment, or change to every-other-month delivery. Takes about 10 seconds. We'd rather you eat through what you have than stack boxes.
