Are all these products ready to eat?
Yes. Everything ships shelf-stable with no refrigeration required until opened. The snack sticks are shelf-stable up to one year. Refrigerate all products after opening.
How spicy is this kit?
The Carne Seca and Gochujang are medium heat. The Sriracha Honey is mild-to-medium. The Salsa Fresca and Bonfire Bourbon are mild. The biltong and snack sticks are not spicy.
Is anything in this kit gluten-free?
Baja Vida, Righteous Felon (both products), People's Choice, Think Jerky, and Field Trip are all confirmed gluten-free. Rogue Jerky and Hickory Nut Gap Stick don't carry GF certification — verify with manufacturers if you have a serious sensitivity.
What's the difference between biltong and jerky?
Jerky is sliced then dehydrated with heat. Biltong is air-dried with no heat and sliced after drying — softer, moister, closer to thin-sliced prosciutto. Higher protein, lower sugar than most jerky.
